India vs South Africa, 5th Women's T20I: India thrash South Africa to register historic series win

Indian women's team created history on Saturday as they beat South Africa by 54 runs in the fifth and final T20I at Cape Town to clinch the series 3-1. Harmanpreet Kaur's team thus became the first to register two series wins in the rainbow nation after they clinched the ODI series 2-1. Put into bat, India rode on Mithali Raj's swashbuckling knock of 62 from 50 balls while Jemimah Rodrigues slammed 44 off 34 balls to post 166 for 4 in 20 overs. Harmanpreet. In reply the South African innings faltered from the very beginning and they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals to get bowled out for 112 in 18 overs.
