Virat Kohli becomes first Indian to cross 900-point tally

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has shattered a plethora of records since his arrival in South Africa. He did not have a single century on the South African soil ahead of the tour, but now he has four. Adding yet another feather to his crammed cap, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Tuesday that Kohli has become only the second batsman after AB de Villiers to cross 900-point mark both in Tests as well as one-day internationals.
Kohli, who amassed 558 runs in the six-match ODI series, which India won 5-1 against South Africa recently, has also become only one out of five players to have crossed 900 points in both forms of the game.
