Nidahas Trophy, 3rd T20I: Mushfiqur Rahim leads Bangladesh to record victory vs Sri Lanka

Mushfiqur Rahim was a man possessed on Saturday, as he blasted the Sri Lankan bowlers around the park, to bring up his fifty in just 24 balls, the 2nd fastest by a Bangladeshi batsman in T20Is. With his Herculean effort, he helped Bangladesh chase down Sri Lanka's total of 214. Bangladesh recorded the fourth highest successful run chase in T20I history, which is also the best by an Asian side. Seeking to bounce back from Thursday's loss to India, Rahim elected to field but Sri Lanka amassed 214 for six wickets at the R Premadasa Stadium. Danushka Gunathilaka fell for 26 but a brisk 85-run partnership between opener Kusal Mendis (57) and next man in Kusal Perera(74)  laid the foundation for a 200-plus total.
